There's more to Whispering Pines Golf Course than just the game. Our banquet facility features a spacious room and a covered patio overlooking the 18th green. This venue can accommodate up to 140 people; guests and event organizers enjoy the bar, tap system, walk-in cooler, restrooms, and central sound system. We have hosted many golf outings, dinners, and other private events. For privacy, this space is separate from the main clubhouse, but golfers pass it several times during their round, making it a perfect locale to check in, grab a drink, or take a small break. Whispering Pines also features a pro shop and a bar/grill in its clubhouse.
Since 1965, the year Whispering Pines was designed and built on the property of PGA golf professional Allen "Pop" Alex, the course and its ownership have taken pride in serving the golf community from the tri-state area. Currently under the ownership of the Kingzett family, Whispering Pines continues to evolve, seeking to offer its valued friends the very best golfing experience.

In the wintertime, Whispering Pines also features Avalanche XPress, Northwestern Pennsylvania's longest, steepest snow tubing park. Adrenaline junkies will love flying down our 6 tubing runs, which are 7 stories tall and 900 feet long. This is a safe thrill ride for both kids and adults. Riders must simply be 42 inches tall to ride. We have a 100,000 watt lighting system for night tubing, and a hot drink waiting for afterward in the clubhouse.
